Enrique García Muñoz was born in 1975 in Madrid, Spain. He is Associate Professor from 2009 at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He got his PhD in 2003 studying and designing the optics for the 40m radiotelescope of the Astronomy National Observatory, Spain with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has been Visiting Scientist and Professor with the Ecole Nationale Superiore de Telecommunication de Paris, France (2000), Université Catholique de Louvaine, Belgium (2008), Max Planck Institute für Radioastronomy, Germany (2009 and 2014) and Friedrich-Alexander Erlangen-Nürnberg-University, Germany (2013). He currently supervises research in millimeter-and sub-millimeter wave, components, antennas, receivers, microwave measurements, radioastronomy instrumentation and THz technologies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has managed or participated in several national and European research projects on areas such as antennas and array design together with optoelectronics systems. He has authored or coauthored 45 papers in international journals (JCR), more than 100 conferences and holds three patents.
